Chakras Mudras – The chakras are often associated with energy, faith and spirituality. They are considered to be Energy Centers in the body that regulates our internal energy, balance our emotions and even our physical health. If you pay attention, you will notice that everyone has their unique chakra system. Each of us has a different set of chakras, but all of them work together as part of one system. The term ‘chakra’ actually comes from the Sanskrit word ‘chakra’ which means wheel or axle or axle-like structure. Thus a ‘chakra’ represents a wheel or an axle in the human body. The primary purpose of having these natural energy centers is to keep the energy moving in the right direction so it doesn’t go into unhealthy overdrive (blockage). So how do you do the Chakras mudras? This simple sequence will help balance your chakras and increase their flow: 1) Exhale deeply into the navel area while leaning your head back against a wall. 2) Imagine a wheel rotating clockwise around your spine as you exhale, with your hands on each side of your body near your feet. In other words, imagine twisting one end of the wheel clockwise while keeping the other end twisted counter-clockwise. As you inhale, imagine pushing the twisting end towards your heart center where it should spin clockwise again as it exits out of your stomach region or bottom half
These are only a few simple steps to help you open your chakra system. If you pay attention, you will notice that everyone has their unique chakra system. The chakras are energy centers on the subtle level that can be used to increase our mental, emotional, and spiritual awareness. They are believed to be connected to the higher spiritual forces. If you want to improve your health, increase your energy, increase your spiritual connection, or if you just want to be more conscious about your actions, then the chakras are a great place to start. Most importantly, the chakras are a way to connect with yourself. You are not alone in the world. You are a part of something much, much larger than yourself. When you open your heart to the world, you open yourself up to being helped by others.
